Caregiver Counseling and Support Appointment
Specialized appointment for family members or in care of neurological disorders patients. The caregiver support appointment includes two main strands:
a) a strand to be performed by nurses and/or therapists, which aims to provide information on disease characteristics and training on strategies to facilitate the approach of the most frequent problems;
b) another to be performed individually or in group with a psychologist, which aims to help the caregiver and family members to deal with these stressful tasks.
