Campus for Parkinson's disease

The Campus for Parkinson’s disease carries out intensive group programs in a positive environment, with neurorehabilitation sessions, workshops, and social interaction between patients and family members.

All participants are evaluated on admission and receive support from the multidisciplinary team throughout the program.

In addition to the neurorehabilitation sessions, the Campus includes educational sessions on key aspects related to Parkinson's disease, with the aim of sharing knowledge, clarifying participants' doubts and providing facilitating strategies to be used in the daily lives of patients.

In parallel, there is a social program, which includes functional training in the city and on the beach, so that all participants can socialize and train outside the clinical context.

The Campus for Parkinson’s disease program lasts for 6 days and is intended for people with parkinsonism in early/intermediate stages, with autonomous walking (i.e. without walking aids) and with no history of falls.
